Shorty Small's was a walk away from our hotel and we couldn't have been more pleased. Just the setting walking to the door began our review - it was lovely; then we walked in, the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. After we were seated within moments of walking in , our waitress Sarah was available. She was great and after finding out it was our first time she took her time explaining the menu options and how we could create our own combination for our experience.
Sarah was very patient, kind, and accommodating to our request for dinner. Having great food to tow made the experience exceptional. Food was succulent and timely. Love the restaurant and will forever look for this experience as we travel to other places. Shorty Smalls is now back in Branson. It's located on the strip hwy 76 in the resturant that was previously The Moon River Grill. Food and service were both good. Try the catfish. And if you like chicken fried steak, they serve the biggest one I've ever seen!
Shorty Smalls is now located west of the Moon River Theater. We ordered their catfish dinner with French fries and slaw, which was good. The restaurant in their old location is now called Doc's. We came in around pm, and we were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, they did not inform us that they were out of catfish until we were ordering, so we had to decide something else to order.
My husband and I shared a two meats plate. It came with three pre-chosen sides and made it pretty affordable. The food came out within minutes of ordering. My husband said his chicken was really March I am a big eater. Branson, Missouri.
