Food was the usual Benihana. Dear Gus thank you so much for your feedback, we hope to see you back again soon! The service was great as far as the taste of the food and drinks and the energy and entertainment from the chef. And I looooove the zucchini, onion, and fried rice.

We had a reservation but still waited over 30 minutes to get seated. We received our soup and salad but then the chef never arrived to cook our meal. We waited so long we finally had to leave with no meal.

Took entirely too long. We waited over an hour for a chef, everything about the service was slow. The waiter knocked the plastic fork holder on the the HOT griddle and left it there. It ended up melting on the griddle. The fumes from the plastic was burning everyone at our table. We asked for the manager, he acted like it was no big deal. No apology. The melted plastic was still burning and burning our eyes while everyone ignored it.

I again asked for the Manager and he tells me he will get a chef out right away! Never received our appetizer. The Chef never told us someone else at the table had a sellfish allergy. He proceeds to cook their food first. It was at that point we had to walk out! Again the manager was no help! Offered us another reservation. We refused. Again, we refused. We never received any appetizers we ordered, I had a water and my husband had Diet Coke.

We sat at our table for a half hour before we were greeted or asked for our drink order.

The waitress came back after a half hour with our drinks. Then they took our food order.. Our Teppan chef was wonderful however the service and length of time to be served was not acceptable.

I have eaten and many other Benihana locations and have never waited this long to served. I do understand the lack of staffing at all businesses due to Covid however reservations should be scheduled accordingly. The food was excellent but service cast a shadow on our dining experience.

It was nice and Chef Cody does very good meal for us. Table-top grill preparation show was fun. Food was fresh and prepared to order. Eight people at the table with entrees including steak, chicken, shrimp, lobster and scallops - everyone was pleased. Tuna poke and seared tuna appetizers were good. Soup was so so.

Pretty noisy, as expected in this environment. Things have changed at Benihana on the Strip. There was no social distancing, and tables are shared with other groups, with only inches between seats. The food was not up to their previous standards. The steak, both New York and filet, was served with huge pieces of fat, and very overcooked. Portions of some items, such as the shrimp appetizer, were smaller than before.

There were no mushrooms, and the soup was also a smaller portion, and lukewarm. Our chef had some good tricks, and was entertaining, however his cooking skills were lacking. Unlike in the past, the shrimp was not trimmed, nor were the steaks. Meats were way overcooked, too much "butter" was used, and the grill was not prepped with oil, so everything stuck.

We have alway enjoyed Benihana, but won't be going back to this location anytime soon. Our waiter was terrible. We waited 40 minutes for drinks. Then another 30 minutes for appetizer. The food tasted like straight garlic. After the meal, we waited for another 35 minutes to pay for the food and drink.
